WHAT IT IS:
A nourishing conditioner for dry, brittle, overprocessed hair
WHAT IT DOES:
Conditions the heck out of dry, weakened hair
Glycerin, jojoba oil, and sweet-almond oil (condition); vitamin E and tomato extract (antioxidants)
HOW IT LOOKS/FEELS/SMELLS:
The minimalist, industrial-looking jar is filled with ivory-colored cream. It looks and feels thick, like custard, but dissolves to a silky, lightweight cream as you run it through damp hair. It has a pleasant light, floral scent.
WHY WE LIKE IT:
If you crank your iron to 400-plus degrees, blast your hair with the heat of a drier daily, or regularly sit with foils on your head, this thick conditioner will serve as a personal apology to your hair. The formula is packed with traditional conditioning agents, like glycerin, jojoba oil, and sweet-almond oil, and the lesser-known fiaschetto tomato extract (the company says it’s rich in antioxidants). The cream becomes silky and lightweight as you apply it and rinses away clean, leaving hair brighter, and yes, silkier and smoother. And if you have fine hair, don’t be scared: The formula is thick enough that our fine-haired tester was nervous—but it didn’t weigh her down.
