Gilmore Girls took off when it originally aired and has been just as popular since it appeared on Netflix. The new generation is just catching on and the rest of us re-watch it to laugh at Lorelai, read with Rory, and swoon over Dean and Jess. We fans have been blessed with the Netflix revival Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life and just when you thought it could not get any better, Lauren Graham shows up.
Graham announced on the Ellen show that she will be writing a book of essays that 1. release with the new season and 2. are all about her journey playing Lorelai Gilmore. Holy Luke’s Diner that is everything we never knew we needed in life. Talking As Fast As I Can, named for obvious reasons, will be “hopefully humorous” Lauren says. “I thought that it was so, kind of, strange and wonderful to have played this character and to get to play her again that I started writing about it,” she explained. Hopefully it will be filled with memories, laughs, and a look inside the new season. One thing I know for sure, I will be grasping it in my hands as I binge watch every episode.
